Open House 2012 CP Walker

Today there was an open house at CP Walker in Daegu. We went over to see the exhibits and have a good time. The open house consists of food, static displays-which is military equipment sitting out for all to see, activities for kids, a dunk booth, motorcycle show, food and performances. We didn't really see any of the performances but did participate in the kids activities. Zane got to throw darts at balloons, knock down some cups with a water gun, play golf, try to get a ping pong ball in a cup and play in bounce houses.  Zane had a great time at the dunking booth and both times he got 5 balls and managed to sink the person sitting in the booth. He also had a blast climbing around on all of the equipment. He also climbed up onto an Apache and unlike his first time sitting in an Apache, he didn't scream or cry. Unfortunately that picture didn't make it or didn't get taken right so it is missing.  Here are some shots of the little man climbing around the equipment.

This is a satellite that Jim works with. Zane was trying to lift it off the ground.

5th Birthday's

I am really bad at blogging at least on a regular basis. I don't know why I thought I should keep one but maybe I will get better. I do keep saying that and well it doesn't happen.

Let me see-this one is long over due but I figured that family would love to see the pictures and hear about the party. Zane turned 5 on 29 March and originally we weren't going to have a party as we were leaving for China on 1 April. Well Zane asked for a birthday party and well we had one.  I was trying to keep things simple and I think we did. He invited 9 friends to the house and everyone had a lot of fun! I came up with some games to play both outside and inside. I was very thankful that the sun was shining and everyone had a good time.  You all saw the posts about the cake and I will say that it tasted great. It got eaten by all too!  My brother helped me make sloppy joes, that is what Zane asked for and the kids all ate picnic style on our living room floor. I did cover the carpet with a plastic black table cloth and the kids loved it!

Here are some pictures from that day
