Here is how the day went. We all got up at 0530 and it was Zane's alarm that woke up the whole house. Jim jumped out of bed as if the fire alarm was going off. Maya looked at all of us as if we were crazy and we think she wanted us to all go back to bed. Zane catches his bus at 625 and yes that is early. School starts at 730 and is done at 2:00pm. He will have art, Spanish, PE, Korean, music and a tech class. I did pack a lunch for Zane this morning but for some reason he left it in the wrong cubby in his classroom and ended up have to eat a school lunch. He said it wasn't bad. I am excited for him this year even if we are moving half way through the school year. Jim and I thought he would sleep on the bus ride home from school but no such luck! Zane was literally bouncing off of the walls tonight to keep himself awake. He also got to pick dinner tonight and he picked chicken nuggets, macaroni & cheese and broccoli. And me being me none of it was from a box or previously frozen-all made from scratch except the broccoli. Zane has been going to bed at 8:30 but tonight was out by 8:05. I know we will all adjust to the new schedule but that it might be a rough week.
